About the Senior Business Analyst Role:

  • Senior Business Analysts work directly with Activate team members at all levels of the organization, from fellow analysts to the managing directors and CEO. As essential members of the team, analysts are expected to contribute to team discussions and participate in client meetings.
  • The Senior Business Analyst's role will vary by project, but will typically involve a combination of the following:
  • Industry and user research (e.g. market/consumer trends, commissioned surveys, expert interviews)
  • Analysis such as market sizing and building revenue models
  • Contribution to brainstorming and general direction of analysis
  • Creating, designing, and delivering client presentations
  • Guiding and developing team members (i.e. analysts)
  • Keeping up with overall technology and media trends

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree accompanied by a strong academic record
  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and research capabilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
  • A strong interest in the media/tech space
  • Independent, motivated, and proactive team player

First year base salary ranges from  $110K to $150K with 25% discretionary bonus. Total comp in range of $137,500 to $187,500.

This position requires that the job candidate complete their primary vaccine series against COVID-19.  Please note that an applicant will be considered to have completed their primary vaccine series after their second dose in a 2-dose vaccine series (Pfizer or Moderna), or after their first dose of a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine).   

In light of evolving variants, the CDC recommends that individuals stay Up to Date with COVID-19 vaccinations. Although our policy does not require booster doses at this time, we strongly encourage employees to receive a COVID-19 vaccination booster when eligible to best protect themselves against COVID-19.
